Hana Murgani is a contemporary Sudanese artist whose work is guided by the beauty in nature. She holds the belief that creativity is a gift bestowed upon us by God, and in return we are called to cultivate and practise it.

 

Her art is an expression of her world. With a blank canvas, brush and paints to hand, Hana has found an avenue to express herself freely. Clearing her mind, she envisions the colours and lets her imagination take the lead. It is her time of peace. 

 

Hana pays attention to the minutiae and becomes inspired by the detail, whether it’s a shape, colour or pattern. She encourages us to recognise the beauty in our surroundings as a way to develop mastery in the art of being present in the moment.
